Genetics plays a huge part in stretch marks but I can say I was the only girl in my family to use this during pregnancy and didn’t receive a single stretch mark whereas the girls who didn’t all received them- so I like to think this did work and helped mine be less visible or receive none at all. This keeps my skin so soft and hydrated! We shall see at the end of my pregnancy how well it did keep the stretch marks away but so far so good! I would suggest waiting until the second trimester just so the scent doesn't make you nauseated. It's not very strong, but there is a scent.

I started using twice daily after each shower during my first trimester after seeing this on Instagram. At 35 weeks, I increased my twice daily usage to include two more applications while at work separated by 5 hours (I work 12hr shifts as a RN). I’m now 39 weeks and no stretch marks. The cream isn’t thick and is non greasy. I smells neutral and I can tell it penetrates deeper layers of skin as it doesn’t just sit ontop of your skin.I’ve heard ppl say they’ve had stretch marks pop up after they have the baby. If this happens in my case I will come to review.

I was fairly skeptical about this product, as I am an older mom and still have visible stretch marks from growth spurts during puberty.However, I applied this daily after showering, from mid-First Trimester through birth, and appear to have no marks on my belly!I figured they would definitely show up after everything shrunk back down, but I am 4 weeks post birth, and there is nothing. Whether it was the Island cream, genes, or luck, I am happy!

This is my last pregnancy, was a surprise of course. To add to the madness it’s TWINS! With my previous pregnancies I would use coco butter or the basic over the counter and didn’t do much and would end up with stretch marks. Im 33yr old and it’s been 4 yrs since I was last preggo and got this at 10 weeks. Not a single stretch mark! I also am a person who hates lotion but this doesn’t have that greasy feel afterwards. Love the smell makes me think of citrus. Recommending it to all my pregnant friends. I’ve been even using it on my scars and seems lighter to me.

I love this product, but I wish it wasn't so expensive. A jar of this lasts maybe 3 weeks for me in my last trimester which is a lot to shell out for cream. So far I have no stretch marks and I am in late 3rd trimester, but as we know they are technically genetic and can happen at anytime! However, this is the only cream that calms the itchiness so I absolutely love it for that and the scent!

It has a very nice, refreshing citrus scent that was not too harsh or revolting to my elevated senses during pregnancy. I’m now on week 40 and I haven’t gotten any stretch marks yet. I’m on my second bottle now.

The cream works well, the only the complaint is it has a little smell that can be a little overwhelming. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. I started using it as soon as I found out I was pregnant, and I am about 5 1/2 months pregnant. I recommend the monthly subscription, depending on how often you use it; you may go through it quickly. I use it about three times a day because my family has a history of stretch marks with pregnancy.

I LOVE this product. It is 100% way better than any stretch mark body butter. You can use as much as you want even on the same body part and it will not be greasy. Just rub it in like any other lotion. I continue to order this product throughout my pregnancy. I believe I was 4-5 months pregnant when I began to use it and now I am 6 months and still am confident that I will remain stretch mark free. If I do get them it is because they are hereditary but so far so good. However, the last one I ordered when I rub it in sometimes there are little gel balls which was never in the other one and is kind of annoying. I have to pick them off.

I am 39 weeks pregnant and have been using Island Beauty once daily on the bump since first trimester. Somehow, I have managed to only get a few very small stretch marks on my sides above my hips, and those just showed up in the last week. I can’t say for sure whether I’m genetically lucky or whether this cream is the reason, but I’m definitely not leaving it to chance! I will continue to use Island Beauty postpartum and in any future pregnancy! The smell is great and I feel moisturized even then next morning when applying before bed. The only con is that it’s a little spendy. Using generously daily, one jar will last about a month.

I started using island beauty daily around week 14 of pregnancy. When I gave birth at 39w+1d I was still stretch mark free! I only gained about 30 lbs throughout pregnancy, so that may have contributed, but overall this product seems to have worked in preventing stretch marks. Would highly recommend, be sure to start using early!

I am still fairly early in my pregnancy, so stretch marks are not a problem yet. But I am using this cream daily after I shower. I love the smell (which is important during morning sickness/sensitive smell times). And the cream makes my skin feel soft and nice. This lotion is amazing. It goes a long way too. I have used it daily for belly, upper thighs and lower back "love handles" for 8 months of my pregnancy. I just NOW have to get a new jar of it. It smells amazing, I swear my husband cuddles with me more when I use it. I use it as face and leg lotion as well. My skin feels amazing all day. I don't have any stretch marks so far but, that is really up to genetics as well as wear and tear throughout the pregnancy. It helps with that annoying itchy belly. I put this on and I don't itch AT ALL. Highly recommend this lotion.

I bought this product and loved it!!! I gerd birth at 38 weeks. Absolutely no stretch marks. I would put it on every morning starting sometime around 20 weeks and used baby oil after shower prior to that. I went through one whole jar and about a half of one before I had my little one! I would only put it on my thighs, butt, love handle area, lots on the tummy, and breasts.

Started using this at 19 weeks pregnant. I probably use it on average 5 days a week. I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and have no strechmarks! I generally cover my belly and hips and will probably only need two jars for the pregnancy. So it was well worth the money. It does have a cirtus scent but I don't find it offense. It smells more natural vs bath and body works. It's very moisturizing clothes are a clingy if you dress right after using it but they don't get oily or stained. Would definitely recommend!

I love the smell. I love the quality. It doesn’t leave a greasy or oily after feel. It definitely has helped so much. I did not start using this until a few weeks into my 2nd trimester and the usual Palmers Cocoa Butter Stretch mark lotion and oil wasn’t helping and I noticed some stretch marks appearing on my breasts. I have some very minor light and shallow stretch marks on my butt cheeks but they are so faint, my husband said they almost look like tiny scratch marks. However stretch marks vary from person to person. My stomach has 0. The ones on my breast faded from purple to soft pink just since using this. I’m going on 31 weeks so we will see how effective it is in the remaining weeks to come. I use 1 container every 3 weeks and am about to receive my 5th container in a few days. Will continue to use till the end!

I recently just started my 4th jar of this cream. I am 28 weeks pregnant and have been using this cream along with Bio-Oil Skincare Oil since I was 6 weeks pregnant. So far I have no stretch marks anywhere on my belly. I make sure to apply and massage the oil first and then apply and massage the cream every day.I am that the oil and cream will continue to help my skin throughout my third trimester. I definitely love that it keeps my skin soft and moisturized throughout the day!

I’ve used Island beauty before for stretch marks and it has worked a whole lot better than other (even more expensive) products I’ve tried! I’m excited to see how well it continues to wrk. I have tried a number of belly creams/oils for pregnancy, and this brand has become my favorite! I started with this stretch mark prevention cream and absolutely loved it. I can't wait for their body oil to my routine as well! I especially love this cream now that I'm in my third trimester because it is very fluid yet hydrating, which makes it easier and more comfortable to apply on my stretched skin. Much better than the super heavy/thick belly butters that cause too much friction/pulling while trying to rub in.

I’ve heard and researched that stretch marks are genetic. Whether that is true or this cream truly does help prevent, I can’t be certain. The Island Beauty Cream smells and feels amazing on my growing stomach. I’m on my 5th jar, 7 months in and love the way it feels. This is my first pregnancy and I have not had any stretch marks thus far. I do think the cream does a great job at moisturizing and reducing itchy skin. It’s a win in my book!

I love this lotion. I started using it on week 12 and so far I am on my second jar and not a single stretch mark as of week 33. I don’t know if it’s this lotion working or just my skin not having stretch marks at all but I decided to use it even though it is kind of pricey than to be sorry later and have to deal with stretch marks and I use it every day. I love the light fresh smell and the texture: it’s not too thick but it is a nice moisturizing texture. I will be ordering my third jar soon to say me through the last weeks of pregnancy and recovery.

To be fully effective and see results, you have to use this early (1st trimester) to help moisturize and prepare your skin when it starts stretching. I used it in my 1st trimester and my belly did not itch while growing, and have not seen stretch marks so far (I am currently 28 weeks.) I recommend this product and wished that i discovered this waaaaay back

Not consistently, but I don’t recommend doing that. I’m now at 28 weeks and belly has really popped. No stretch marks so far. I’m now using it faithfully twice a day, so we’ll see how it goes. I’m really pleased with the product. It’s smells amazing and spreads very easily as it’s not a super thick consistency. It’s not greasy at all, absorbs easily and can put clothes on right away.
